I recently began Auto-Immune Protocol diet and some of the recipes call for coconut butter, long shelf life, very tasty product, mixes well with other ingredients. Made some great tasting desserts with this and after reading other reviews look forward to trying out other peoples ideas...
I love liquid coconut cream, but I always hated the cans (trash and the perhaps toxic lining). Most of the time I only need half a can and found the other half covered with mold after a week. This creamed coconut can be used as a kind of 'instant' liquid cream. I melt it, give it a good stir, pour it into ice cubes forms, and cool it. Now I always have handy amounts available in the fridge. They are not perishable.
This is a wonderful product. It has a very fresh taste & no 'bits' of coconut in it. I'll never buy tinned coconut cream or milk again. Just use about 2-3 tbs in a cup of warm water and adjust to taste before using as a coconut cream/milk replacement in cooking.
This product is amazing!! Just special! everybody should try it.
