Easy Reishi Chocolate

Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) is one of the most famed tonic herbs of all time. It has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of year to reduce stress, promote longevity, strengthen the immune system, increase energy and support healthy aging. Reishi is known as a tonic for elevating the spirit (Shen) and promoting mental well-being, calmness and cultivating peace, love and happiness.

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

1/4 cup Niulife Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted

1 tbsp Niulife Coconut Syrup

3 tbsp raw cocoa

2 tsp Reishi mushroom powder

2 tbsp almonds, crushed

Pinch of salt

TIP: To make this into a Rocky Road, you can also include a big handful of buckinis, sunflower seeds, cacao nibs, hazelnuts and sultanas into step 1 of the method.


1. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine peanut butter, coconut oil, coconut syrup, raw cacoa, Reishi mushroom powder, and salt.

2. Pour the mixture into a silicon or loaf tin lined with baking paper and sprinkle crushed almonds on top.

3. Place in the fridge for 30 mins to set.

4. Cut into 8-10 pieces and store in fridge.
